Durban -

At least two people were killed when their bus overturned near Kranskop, the KwaZulu-Natal road traffic inspectorate said on Wednesday.

Spokeswoman Zinhle Mngome Zulu said initial indications were that the bus driver had attempted to avoid some goats on the R74 about five kilometres from the rural settlement of Ntanjamili.

Two people were killed in the accident and 36 others were injured.

The injured were being taken to the Ntunjambili Provincial Hospital. - Sapa
