STANDARD BANK Activos buys into Angola unit

AAA Activos would buy a 49 percent stake in Standard Bank Angola, a unit of Standard Bank Group, through a capital increase recently approved by Angola’s central bank, the lender said yesterday. Standard Bank Group would hold the remaining 51 percent of shares in the Luanda-based lender after the capital increase, Standard Bank Angola said. – Bloomberg
