A man accused of stabbing South African polo star Sibusiso Duma to death will appear in the Howick Magistrate's Court on Monday, the Witness newspaper reported.
According to the paper, a 24-year-old man was arrested in downtown Howick on Saturday. Police recovered a “type of flick knife” believed to be the murder weapon. It would be sent for forensic analysis.
Duma, 25 was killed in Lidgetton, Howick, on Tuesday around 3pm.
He represented South Africa against Australia in the Kirkland International in 2009, scoring five goals and receiving the player of the match award.
