Man dies in plane crash

Johannesburg - One man died and another was injured when their light aircraft crashed near Groblersdal, in Limpopo, on Monday, paramedics said.

The victim, in his 60s, was extricated from the wreckage, but efforts to resuscitate him failed, said ER24 spokesperson Andre Visser.

Another man was in a serious condition. He broke both legs and sustained suspected back, neck, chest and facial injuries.

“Paramedics treated the man on the scene before transporting him to a nearby medical facility,” Visser said. - Sapa
