Murdered Ballito victim Craig Hall was apparently shot twice in the back of the head and not stabbed to death as originally reported.
Police said the investigation was too sensitive to release the findings of the post mortem held on Tuesday.
SAPS spokesman Vincent Mdunge said the case “was of a sensitive nature from the point of view of the family as well as the police”.
Hall, whose bloodied body was found on Saturday at the old Greenfield service station site after he went missing from his parents’ home last week, was originally believed to have been involved in a R400 000 deal involving a “stolen” car which had gone sour.
Private investigator Brad Nathanson, who has been working on the case at the behest of Hall’s parents, confirmed that the 21-year-old was suspected of drug dealing, an allegation Rose Bega, Hall’s mother, has denied.
Hall will be buried at 11am on Thursday from the All Saints Catholic Church in Ballito. - The Mercury
