Court ruling favours Crookes

Agricultural group Crookes Brothers (CKS) said on Friday that the Supreme Court of Appeal had ruled in its favour regarding the payment dispute between itself and government over the Komatipoort Estate.

Crookes is to be paid the amount of R22.8 million plus interest and costs. The company had sold the estate to National Department of Land Affairs in 2010 as part of land restitution programme‚ but were never paid for it. - I-Net Bridge
