Children die in fire

A train in Myanmar carrying petrol derailed and burst into flames, killing 25 people and injuring 62, most of them villagers.

Johannesburg -

Two children burnt to death in a house in Kwa-Thema, on the East Rand, on Wednesday, paramedics said.

Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said the ages of the children were not known.

He said fire-fighters arrived to find the house engulfed in flames. The two burnt bodies were discovered once the blaze had been extinguished

The parents were still being sought. - Sapa
